DIP BLENDS

National Chip and Dip Day is March 23rd and a great opportunity to bless someone with an assortment of herb blends for dips. Choose a small attractive container, bag & label each of the blends and include the directions for creating their own dips for snacking or their next party.  NOTE: These blends can also be used to season a variety of dishes.

To prepare any of the following as dips, combine 1Tbs blend with 1 c sour cream and 1 c mayonnaise.  Refrigerate at least an hour to marry the flavors before serving with chips or crudités.

GARDEN HERB BLEND
3Tbs parsley
2Tbs onion flakes
1½ tsp oregano
1 tsp marjoram
1 tsp garlic granules
1 tsp chives

DELIGHTFUL DILLY BLEND
2Tbs dill
2Tbs parsley
1Tbs onion flakes
1Tbs chives

CREAMY CURRY BLEND
1Tbs curry powder
1Tbs parsley
1Tbs onion flakes
1Tbs chives
1 tsp garlic granules
