The 4th Sunday in September is Good Neighbor Day and a perfect time to bless one or several neighbors with a sampler of different teas. These tubes are meant for daily medications, but they make a great container for 1 cup samples of various teas. This one had different colors for each day, so I matched the teas with the colors, added 1 teaspoon of tea to each section and created a unique gift when placed in a pretty mug with a cutwork napkin. I also included the following key for the different teas before wrapping along with individual sized T-sacs to brew, but you could also attach a mesh tea ball or mesh tea spoon.
VANILLA CHAI
(rooibos, cinnamon, clove, cardamom, ginger root,
vanilla bean pieces and natural flavor)
A naturally sweet, spicy and rich chai tea
HONEY-BOS
(red rooibos and honeybush)
South African elixir - naturally sweet & full-bodied blend
PEACH PLUS
(rooibos, hibiscus, blackberry leaf, licorice root,
ginger, peach pieces & natural flavors
A sweet & peachy taste with a ginger twist
BENE-FUL BERRY
(rooibos, raspberry leaf, rosehips, hibiscus, elderberry & natural flavors)
A refreshing multi-berry brew for a pick-me-up!
RAZZLEMINT RAINBOW
(honey-bos, hibiscus, rosehips, lemongrass, raspberry leaf,
peppermint, cinnamon, citrus peel)
A bright perky mint tea that’s sure to cheer you up!
HONEY & LEMON
(honeybush, lemon myrtle, lemon balm, lemon verbena,
lemongrass, hibiscus & rosehips)
A soothing lemony tea with a hint of honey
LADY EARL RED
(honey-bos, rosehips & petals, hibiscus, chamomile,
lavender, lemongrass, mint, jasmine & oil of bergamot)
Sweet, fruity, floral version of the classic Earl Grey
A sweet reminder that you appreciate your neighbors!
“Each one should use whatever gift he has received to serve others,
faithfully administering God’s grace in its various forms.”
I Peter 4:10
