This potpourri can be used in many ways including as a favor for those who stop by your home during the Christmas season.  You can also place some of the mixture in an apothecary jar decorated with a ribbon to make a lovely last minute gift.  Fill fancy dishes or baskets to add fragrance around the house.  Add to punched containers or paper doily cones as ornaments for your Christmas tree. The possibilities are endless to bless others or yourself!

CHRISTMAS SPICE POTPOURRI

2Tbs whole allspice

2Tbs whole star anise

2Tbs cardamom pods

5Tbs cinnamon sticks, broken

5Tbs whole cloves

2Tbs ginger root

1Tbs white peppercorns

1/2 vanilla bean, cut into ¼” pieces

2 whole nutmeg

1c whole rosehips
