POLLYS TRADITIONAL TEA

"So whether you eat or drink, or whatever you do,
do it all for the glory of God

Polly’s Tea Room is always a treat, but this week it seemed particularly amazing from start to finish.  Maybe it was because I hadn’t been there in a long time or maybe it was because I was sharing the experience with a dear friend.  Being greeted by Jennifer and escorted to our table made us both feel special from the beginning .

Polly’s Tea Room is part of the charming River Lily Inn Bed & Breakfast owned by innkeepers Art & Polly Cappuccio at 558 Riverside Drive, Holly Hill, FL  32117.  It is located on the Intracoastal with the ambiance of an old plantation home which actually used to be the site for commercially grown lilies and is the perfect relaxing atmosphere for afternoon tea.

The table was so inviting with a mixture of china and the first course of soup and sandwich waiting our arrival along with a tiered tray of additional savories and sweets, a plate of scones and a glass of champagne.  Who wouldn’t feel pampered!

As we enjoyed all the delicious food it was lovely to share conversation with a couple delightful women who were there for the first time plus the personal hospitality of Polly.  We ended the perfect afternoon with a special treat – Art serenading us with songs accompanied by his guitar!
