TEA FOR ONE

Time to take a tea break just for yourself! Sipping tea is a great way to relax and reduce stress even if it is only for a few minutes as it can bring your body back to normal and refresh your mind.

Follow these steps modified from a recent article in Better Homes and Gardens:

1. Create an atmosphere of relaxation with soft Christian music or just enjoy the sounds of nature

2. Find a comfortable place indoors or outside in God’s creation

3. Choose and steep your favorite tea in a small teapot and find a pretty teacup for this special time

4. While the tea is steeping notice the things God has provided around you

5. Before you take you first sip, thank God for this quiet moment you have with Him and enjoy the aromatic effect of the tea

6. During each subsequent sip give thanks for a different aspect of your life such as friends, family, health, etc.

7. On the last sip, thank God one more time for the abundant life He has provided

8. As you clean the teaware contemplate how this time spent with God has cleansed your mind, body, soul and spirit and plan to do it often!
