TEA SANGRIA
1 gallon iced black tea
2 c fresh fruit such as sliced oranges, limes, lemons, peeled kiwi or apples or washed and dried berries
Combine tea and fruit in a large glass pitcher with ice cubes made from tea or juice and chill in the refrigerator until ready to serve in chilled glasses. Great to look at, and delicious to drink, too.

SUMMER COOLER
6 c strong black or green tea
1 c granulated sugar
1 can frozen lemonade concentrate
4 juice cans of water
2 1/2 c pineapple juice
Mix the sugar in the tea while still warm, and then add the other ingredients. Serve over ice or you
can freeze the mixture and serve as a slush. Keep well-chilled.

ORANGE ICED TEA
3 oranges
1/2 c sugar
1 c boiling water
4 c iced black tea
fresh mint sprigs
Cut peel from one orange in a spiral motion, then into thin strips. Slice all oranges into a pitcher, add sugar and crush with a wooden spoon. Add water and let steep 15 minutes. Strain the mixture and combine with the tea in the pitcher. Add ice cubes and garnish with orange peel spirals and sprigs of mint.

ICED GREEN CHAI
4 c water
1 cinnamon stick
1Tbs green cardamom pods
1tsp whole cloves
2Tbs sliced fresh gingerroot
4tsp green tea leaves
Add cinnamon, cardamom, cloves and gingerroot to boiling water and simmer 10 minutes. Add green tea, cover and steep 3 minutes. Strain and chill tea mixture and serve with cold milk and sweetener to taste.

BOSTON ICED TEA
1 gallon water
1 c sugar
5Tbs of good loose leaf black tea
12oz frozen cranberry juice cocktail
Dissolve sugar in boiling water. Steep tea in the sugar water for the appropriate steeping time (typically 3-5 minutes for loose tea). Chill, then add the cranberry juice cocktail.
